CUSTOMS Greetings During your business trip, it’s important to learn the correct ways of greeting Saudi’s to form a good first impression. This can be key for the success of your business trip. When greeting, you should show respect by starting with the most senior person first. Greetings can differ in many situations, for instance, men shake hands with men, and women shake hands with other women. A man greeting a woman should be guided by her behavior and women should wait and see how the male greets them. Men should not look, or talk to the women unless they have already been introduced. A simple way to avoid mistakes, is to simply put your hand over your heart.
